Prayer is one of the four pillars of the Dominican Order and is a significant part of life at Dominican University. Come experience communal prayer and contemplation with other members of our community as we learn and grow in faith and understanding together. Everyone belongs!
Interfaith Prayer and Meditation Room
The Interfaith Prayer and Meditation Space at Dominican University is available to all students, staff and faculty for personal prayer, meditation and reflection. The Interfaith Prayer and Meditation Room is located on the second floor of Mazzuchelli Hall, adjacent to the Noonan Reading Room and Rosary Chapel.

Mass Schedule
Share in the celebration of the Eucharist every Sunday during the academic year at our 4:00 p.m. student-led Mass. Liturgies will also be live-streamed on our Facebook page and DUMinistry YouTube channel.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered by appointment on Sundays when Mass is scheduled, between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. If you would like more information about receiving the sacrament, or to schedule a time, please contact Akua Kankam.
Sacrament of Confirmation and Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
Students, staff and faculty who are interested in deepening their Catholic identity through the sacrament of Confirmation are invited to visit with a University Ministry staff member. Together we can arrange a process that will suit your specific needs as you prepare to receive this Sacrament while attending Dominican University. Those who are interested in formally joining the Catholic community or who have already been baptized into the Catholic Church and would now like to receive the Sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation are invited to visit with a University Ministry staff member. The process of RCIA, or the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, may be the right fit for you. Through this process of initiation, you will journey with others as you explore, learn about, and are formed in the faith, the community, and the mission of the Catholic Church.
Liturgical Ministries
Liturgy at Dominican University is driven and facilitated by our students. Get involved in our prayer life through leadership in art and environment, hospitality, or by becoming a Eucharistic minister, lector, cantor or sacristan. If you are interested in finding your place in a particular ministry or would like to learn more about how you can contribute to the liturgy, please contact University Minister, Akua Kankam.
