The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations establishes and maintains mutually beneficial relationships between Dominican University and the corporate and foundation philanthropic community.

Dominican University has gained increased regional and national renown due to its continuing transformation from a single-campus women's college to a premier, comprehensive Catholic university. The university’s priorities offer many opportunities to build and sustain robust relationships with corporations and foundations whose priorities align with our own.

Corporations

Foundations

Private foundation support is vital to Dominican University. We work with faculty and staff to identify, solicit and steward resources from foundations, and to match university priorities with the interests and priorities of each foundation. The office assists faculty and staff with project and proposal development, grant submissions and stewardship of grants awarded. Benefits to foundation partners include:

Faculty and Staff

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations provides a strategic and coordinated service that helps identify fundable projects and present them to corporations and foundations whose initiatives align with the university's own strengths. We look forward to working with you to build long-term strategic partnerships between Dominican University and institutional funders.

Our office can help you:

  • Identify and research foundations and corporations for potential funding
  • Determine how to build and maintain strong funding relationships
  • Prepare and submit letters of inquiry, proposals, stewardship reports, and other documentation to prospective and current funders
